  1. Who could not love Disney and all his movies!? The Fantasia clip was cool, and your opening was really strong and drew everyone's attention to you. You guys did a good job and recognizing how innovative Disney was, by pointing out how he made the first full length animated film, along with many other "firsts." You both were strong speakers, too!

  2. I never really thought of how much Walt Disney influenced imagination, but learned that it was one of the things that he strived for in life, along with just making something that can be fun for all of the family.I got interested in the presentation. They had good use of media and got my attention with how they presented the information.

  3. Solid opening question about a world without mickey mouse?! Gosh who knows, without Disney channel I don't know what I would have watched when I was a kid. The Fantasia song got stuck in my head because it is so darn catchy.

  5. I think that your group use very common examples which were easy to understand and follow. I think that "your dream comes true" was a good aspect to start your presentation

  7. The Fantasia clip brought back childhood memories for me. I used to watch the full length Fantasia movie all the time when I was a kid. Everyone loves Disney! Great use of media!

Both group members seemed to know a lot about Walt Disney and his publications as well as his amusement parks. I feel they spoke confidently and convincingly.

  8. I loved the opening it grabbed you because every little girl dreams of being some princess from Pocahontas to Cinderella there is a princess for us all. The visual you used with your presentation brought back memories of being a child, which is what Walt Disney was all about. I do think when you guys said the movie kept their morals even when it was over is true, I also believe that Disney is starting to turn away from that as the years go on. Its hard to believe that "Snow White" was the first full animated film when we used to watch it when we were children. I think you two definitely believed everything you said in your speech, and you definitely connected with the audience.

  9. Walt Disney was truly a genius of his time. The example from Fantasia you used was really good and applicable to what you were trying to say. Walt gave kids a focus for their imaginations and even gave them a place to see those imaginations come to life in Disneyland and Disney World.

  10. I cannot imagine a world without Walt Disney's films! It would have made our childhood very dull if these movies were not created. You guys did very well presenting Walt Disney and it was a very good choice of video clip! I never really realized that Fantasia brought together different cultures.

  12. Walt Disney had one of the most creative minds and I love how he connected fake cartoons to cultures. The short video did a great job showing an example of Walt Disney's work.

  14. I like the way that you tied his feelings into his parks as well. The reason that there are underground tunnels in Disney World is because Walt was sitting in space land in Disney land and he saw a cowboy walk through. Then your points about his movies were very well thought out.

  15. Growing up I watched plenty of disney animated greats. I grew up watching Walt Disney's creations but never much about the man himself. The presentation taught me that Walt Disney was aiming to teach morals to kids through his films and parks. The presentation made good use of the images. Unfortunately I have never been to Disney World or Disney Land.
