Essay 2: Paper Topic

I chose to write about the chapter called Speaking of Courage. Throughout this chapter, Norman Bowker is desperately seeking someone he can share his war stories with that will understand him and the hardships of them. Is there ever anyone that you can actually share a war story with other then your brother in arms? I decided to write on this topic because reading it made me really appreciate what war veterans have to go through even after the war.
